JUDE'S BIO
Carlo Castagna was born in Atri on September 15, 1981, he began studying piano at the age of 8 and then the guitar. In the early 90s he formed his first group influenced by Grunge, later in other groups Punk, Postpunk, New wave, Alternative rock, playing exclusively his own songs.
In the early 2000s he started mixing genres, searching for his own style, his own musical identity, and experimenting, merging... sounds and genres recording them in his own studio. Today his 2 projects are "Jude" and the "Monark Project" of which he is the author, and in the recordings...performer of every single instrument except drums and percussions that are sampled, and producer of his songs.
Jude is a project that was born and of which the first Ep was published in 2010, all songs are exclusively instrumental unlike the other bands with whom he has always played and in which he also wrote the lyrics and sang them,
this project has a completely experimental character, the sounds range from ambient, dark ambient, electro wave, alternative rock, dark wave, dream pop music.
After some Ep, mostly published on Soundcloud and Rockit, starts a collaboration with Lemonade, an artist of Korean origin and American adoption, author and voice of the lyrics of the songs, publishing an Ep titled "Shout" present on all digital web stores, and then other singles.

ARE YOU PRESS?
JUDE, is a project that was born in 2010, the year in which the first Ep. Characterized by instrumental tracks, the sounds range from Ambient, Dark Ambient, Electro Wave, Alternative Rock, Dark Wave, to Dream Pop.
The name JUDE comes from German, and means Jewish. Before that came homosexuals, Roma, disabled people (physical and mental) and only later Jews to persecute. For racial, hate, absurd reasons, millions of men, women and children were considered useless, inferior, different, and so one of the worst crimes we can remember in history, the Holocaust, happened.
The name Jude comes to life precisely from a reflection that starts from that terrible historical period and is against all forms of racism and discrimination.
So much so that the sound is realized through many facets; through a multitude of musical and cultural diversities that merge, ranging in absolute freedom of expression and creativity.
A project currently embellished by the extraordinary collaboration with Lemonade, an artist of Korean origin and adopted by the United States, which merges well with Jude in the creation of an Ep of 7 songs entitled "Shout" published last year, and co-produced by Nicolò Spezialetti, engineer and sound technician. An intense collaboration, that with Lemonade, which continues, then, with the release of three new singles: Sticks & Stones, Slow Down, and the last written and published during the quarantine period: Galaxies.
